🏕️ Campfire Chicken Alfredo Foil Packs
Creamy, cheesy chicken Alfredo made right over the campfire—no pots or pans required! These foil packs are an easy camping dinner that comes together with minimal cleanup.
🛒 Ingredients — Serves 4
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz. penne or rotini pasta, cooked
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
🔥 Directions
- Prep the chicken: Toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine: In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, and seasoned chicken.
- Make the foil packs: Tear off four large pieces of heavy-duty foil. Divide the mixture evenly among the sheets.
- Add cheese: Sprinkle each packet with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Seal: Fold the foil tightly around the food, creating completely sealed packets.
- Cook: Place the foil packs over hot campfire coals—not directly in the flames. Cook for about 15–20 minutes, carefully flipping once, until the chicken reaches 165°F and the broccoli is tender.
- Serve: Carefully open the packets (watch for hot steam!) and give everything a quick stir. Add extra Parmesan if desired.
🏕️ Camping Tip: Cook the pasta at home before your trip and store it in a sealed container in your cooler. That makes this recipe much faster and easier at the campsite!
